ok so, this is the foundation that i am using right now, and i am in love with it! its perfect consistency for me, works wonderfully with my skin tone, and blends in nicely. this foundation does come in a matt version for oily skin types, but i have dry to normal skin and this works perfectly for me, some people i know that have oily to combination skin use this and it works perfectly for them too .. as it sets quite Matt even though its called sheer glow, its not that sheer, its just the perfect amount of silkiness on your skin.
on the Nars website they describe it as a "A glowing, satin-finish foundation with sheer and build able coverage" i would say this is very true.
they also state that it
1) Minimizes visible discoloration
2) Brightens and clarifies overall skin tone
3) Improves skin luminosity and radiance
4)Hydrates for softer and smoother skin
5)Dermatologist tested. Non-comedogenic. Fragrance Free
overall i think that this is a great product. they have a great colour selection, and it works perfectly with olive and yellow based skin tones
so overall i think that this is a great product, its build able coverage which is great and i think that its really good coverage without being too much, its light and feels fresh on the skin, its fragrance fee, it blends really well, its long lasting, and covers pigmentation.. there is not really one thing i don't like about this product!!
one tiny thing though that's a little annoying is that it doesn't come with a pump, but that's not a big problem for me. so yeah i would definitely recommend this product especially if you have dry to combination skin and your looking for good coverage but natural flawless finish.
this is an oil free weightless foundation. very hydrating and glides onto the skin to leave a silky texture, again like nars sheer glow this is also a build able foundation, makes it perfect to adapt to different make up looks that you wish to achieve. they have shades ranging from 1 to 11 but also including 0.5 so if your in between they accommodate you. it comes with a pump unlike the nars sheer glow which is always a plus. this foundation is perfect for someone who hates heavy foundation, its so weightless on the skin, like it feels like your just wearing a tinted moisturiser.again this is perfect to even out the skin tone, with not too much coverage, however because its build able and so weightless you can apply 2 pumps to achieve more coverage and it looks so flawless, it looks so natural and feels like second skin. its lasting power is ok, it does last a long time, and if you want it to last all day even longer, you could apply a primer, and i think this product is suitable for all skin types. overall i think this is a great product. 3. This foundation was created to still producee a completely flawless finish even with the high definition pixels of camera's these days. so its great for days when you want to take lots of pictures.
it comes in 25 different shades, and is lightweight on the skin doesn't feel too heavy at all. this product also states that it seeks to perfect the complexion but also protect the skin. so that's always good. this foundation seems to be so popular everyone has it in their collection i guess its because its so easy to apply and is moisturising without clinging to dry patches on the skin.
5. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
this is a long wearing foundation, 16 hours lasting power, this foundation is heavy on the skin, but i do like this for days wear you need amazing coverage and you want it to last all day and night. it covers blemishes sooo well, and it does give you a flawless face. a little goes a long way with this product and i would not really wear this on a daily basis, but i still like this product and recommend it, if that's what your looking for.
